Description

Double bill of animated adventure films featuring the loveable sea sponge. In 'SpongeBob Squarepants: The Movie' (2004), SpongeBob (voice of Tom Kenny) sets off to recover the stolen crown of King Neptune, assisted by his best friend, Patrick (voice of Bill Fagerbakke). SpongeBob's boss Mr Krabs (voice of Clancy Brown) has been accused of the crime, and even though the two of them don't see eye-to-eye, SpongeBob sets off to prove he is innocent. With Patrick, he makes the journey to the dark and dangerous Shell City, determined to free Mr Krabs and recover the crown. In 'SpongeBob and the Big Wave' (2008), when SpongeBob (voice of Kenny) and his friends are swept away by a giant wave, they find themselves stranded on a desert island. While trying to make their way back to Bikini Bottom, they encounter surf guru, Jack Kahuna Laguna (voice of Johnny Depp), who tells them that the only way for them to get home is to surf the legendary wave called 'The Big One.'
