All six episodes from the second series of the early 1970s sitcom starring Jimmy Jewel as an aging grump who is taken in by his daughter and her family as his health declines. As ungrateful as the tetchy behaviour of widowed ex-railway worker, Tommy Butler (Jewel), may seem to his daughter, Vera (June Barry), and her husband, Brian (Larry Martyn), Tommy has his good moments, too, and forms a close relationship with his grandson, Charlie Harris (Charlie Hawkins). However, in this series Tommy struggles to maintain his relationship with Charlie, as the 12-year-old's horizons begin to extend further than his grandfather's areas of expertise: fishing and football.
