Of the 306365 people diagnosed with cancer in 1998, 2583 were diagnosed with Lymphoid Leukaemia a very rare cancer of the blood. Of those number diagnosed, thirty seven were young men in their twenties. One of those young men was Jonathan Kay.This book tells the journeys of many people through the eyes and thoughts of Jonathan and his mother, Brenda. Other people come in and out of the story, reminding us that cancer affects not just the sufferer. Jonathan’s words are often humorous, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, but they are always human. They especially challenge us to think about how we treat those who become ill.
