Description

American sci-fi thriller based on the novel by Alexandra Bracken. Set in a dystopian future where a pandemic has wiped out 98 percent of children under the age of 20, the surviving children find they have inherited incredible superhuman powers but are now under threat from the government who aim to contain the survivors within internment camps. When the extremely powerful 16-year-old Ruby (Amandla Stenberg) narrowly escapes the camp, she encounters a group of children who set out to form a resistance movement to fight against the authoritarian government and reclaim the safety of their futures.
