Success in GCSE drama - Phil Parker

A new approach textbook for GCSE Drama, developed with great success at a Beacon School in Birmingham and written by leading practitioners of drama. The approach is based on a learning spiral using any or all of the four comprehensive schemes of work aimed at A-C/D grade students. Each scheme of work consists of six sessions, with each session based on an assessment objective, and all the activities in the session linked to a key focus skill. The authors, Phil Parker and Craig Boardman, teach at Colmers School and Sports College, Birmingham, which holds Beacon School status and is central to the Midlands' as well as national work in drama INSET. Phil has 29 years' experience teaching drama and is an Assistant Head Teacher at the school. Craig leads the drama department and has 10 years' experience producing plays and films.
