Description

This is it, the biggest Mario Party game yet! So big that Nintendo is calling it a Jamboree, an entire festival of mega fun. Drag in your family and friends and get the party going with a whopping seven new and returning boards. It offers the highest number of minigames to date (110, if you're keeping count) as well as finally introducing online party modes and a single-player campaign, as well as special motion-controlled games to boot. For the casual player, there are Party Rules to keep things bright and breezy. For the more dedicated or longstanding player, there are also Pro Rules that minimise the role of luck to focus on skill. There's a deep cast of characters to play with, ranging from mainstays like Mario, Peach and Luigi to newcomers like Pauline and Ninji. From time to time other characters will show up as a Jamboree Buddy and a showdown minigame will kick off - whoever got there first will have a bit of an edge, but the winner will be the one who gets to Buddy up with the new character. The motion-based games include a chef game that has you chopping ingredients to make a delicious dish, a flying game that lets you take to the skies and Toad's Item Factory, in which you use the Joy-Con controllers to manipulate machinery.
