T'ai-chi chi kung - Peter Chin Kean Choy

If T'ai-Chi is the trunk of the tree of knowledge and chi healing, Chi Kung represents the roots, and neither can flourish without the other. T'ai-Chi Chi Kung helps the beginner to understand this dual philosophy, explaining how, in the Tao of Colour, each exercise is related to a colour and each colour to an emotion. The exercises can be practised individually or as a whole, for as little as five minutes a day. Some are ideal for the end of a stressful day; others will uplift the spirit if performed out of doors in the sunshine; some can even be applied to routine tasks such as ironing and typing. The aim is to promote self-esteem and self-development in a happy and healthy body.
