Talking points in psychology - Rob McIlveen

Aiming to encourage those who study Psychology to think more critically about the discipline, this book provides ten topics that could form the basis for individual or small-group tutorials. Recently-published newspaper articles provide a vehicle for the discussion of these topics, which are rooted in biological, abnormal, cognitive, social, developmental and comparative psychology. Background information is provided to set each article in its context, but the book's central themes are the talking points that arise from the articles. The topics covered are relevant to the AEB and OCSEB syllabuses.
