Description

It only took two games to cement the Nioh series in the top tier of the soulslike genre. Its dark samurai setting, uniquely kinetic action, mega customisable builds and epic boss battles have earned the series a place at the top table. Nioh 3 isn't reinventing the wheel, but it does have a few new spokes to add. The headline addition is the introduction of two separate playstyles that you can switch between on the fly: Samurai and Ninja. Samurai is the closest to the original Nioh playstyle, with its three different sword stances to switch between and Ki Pulses to regain your stamina, all adding up to make for a great offensive style. Ninja is a much faster style, letting you go wild with your dashes and Nioh 3's new jump function. Summon Visitor is another new feature - you can summon another player to join you in exploring Nioh 3's open world. Or, if you prefer, be the mysterious stranger in someone else's game.
