Amicably separated from her husband, Ian, Eve enjoys her life in the small seaside town of Littelsea. She likes her job; has good friends and regular tennis partners; and currently shares her house with her twenty-something son Ben, the apple of her eye. She's quite sure that she doesn't want the messy complications of romance.
