Description

Documentary featuring the successes and failures of the 24 teams that made it to the 1982 World Cup Finals in Spain. This World Cup was notable for certain teams failing to make it to the finals at all, including the Netherlands, Mexico and Sweden, and the inclusion of a number of teams getting there for the first time ever, including New Zealand, Algeria and Kuwait. There were some unexpectedly impressive performances in early matches from teams that were not considered to be any real threat, however, this was to be short-lived with the expected teams making it to the later stages of the competition.
