Description

Documentary exploring the world of the ancient Egyptians, particularly their religious document, the Book of the Dead. Over four millennia old, this relic is thought by many to be the basis for much of the Old Testament, such as the Ten Commandments. This History Channel documentary recreates the stories of two characters, one an ancient Egyptian man who laboriously saves to buy his Book, and the other a British Museum curator who excitedly purchases the same copy some hundreds of years later.
