Description

With little in the way of roads, and inhospitable terrain, a medical emergency in Australia's outback can literally be a matter of life and death. Step forward the doctors, nurses and pilots of the Royal Flying Doctors Service, who are on call at a moment's notice, to come to the aid of their fellow Aussie. Mainly focusing on daring flights to wilderness ranches and long forgotten watering holes, there are also, inevitably, a few colleague-love issues that rise to the surface as the team is stranded, for weeks at a time, at its base in the godforsaken town of Coopers Crossing.
