Description

Peter Cook and Dudley Moore lampoon the Baker Street detective's most famous case. Engaged to investigate the curse of the hell hound which plagues the Baskerville family, Sherlock Holmes (Cook) immediately decides that he needs a holiday, and leaves his bumbling assistant Watson (Moore) in charge of the case. He soon makes a mess of things, while Holmes receives an ear-bashing from his scolding mother (also Moore), who insists on accompanying him when he resumes his investigation. A host of famous British comedy faces, including Terry-Thomas, Kenneth Williams and Spike Milligan, fill out the cast.
