Description

Satirical take on the initial and subsequent events that led to the L.A. Riots of 1992. Viewed as slightly controversial on its release, this film recreates the sequence of events that took place after the two police officers involved in the Rodney King beating were acquitted. Narrated by rapper Snoop Dogg, a number of the main incidents are re-staged, with most of the leading figures involved lampooned mercilessly. In fact, no stone is left unturned as the media, police, mayor's office and public are all shown to play their part in what became a social tinderbox.
