Description

The story of an eccentric grandfather and his dog Roo, both of whom set off on a journey to the North Pole in search of the last polar bears. Setting sail on the good ship Unsinkable with a golf bag packed full of equipment, the grandfather begins to write a series of letters to his grandchild, and it is in the form of these letters that the story is told.
