Harold French directs this 1950s romantic comedy based on the stage play 'Who Is Sylvia?' by Terence Rattigan. Mark St. Neots (John Justin) - Lord Binfield, to give him his full title - seems to have everything in his favour: a solid family background and a promising career in the British Foreign Office. His love life, however, is not so fulfilling. In his teens Mark fell for the beautiful redhead Sylvia (Moira Shearer) and, though their love affair didn't last long, her image haunts him in his adult life. Can he find a way to locate his dream girl? Kenneth More narrates the film, while Denholm Elliott and Roland Culver also star.
