Uplifting made-for-TV film about how an industrialist refuses to let Christmas be postponed. American toy-maker A.C. Gilbert (Jason Alexander) is forced by the government to convert his toy factory to manufacture munitions when his country enters WWI. In a further step, they convince him to support a campaign aimed at diverting money spent on Christmas presents towards supporting the war. Determined to keep the Christmas spirit alive for American children, Gilbert makes one last effort to get the toys rolling again.
