Description

All 26 episodes of the 1970s secret agent series. In 'The Eagle's Nest' the abduction of an eminent scientist leads Steed (Patrick MacNee) and friends to a group of Nazis planning a revival of the Third Reich. In 'The Midas Touch' Steed finds 750,000 of gold dust in a man's stomach and Gambit (Gareth Hunt) must protect Purdey (Joanna Lumley) from the one man plague, Midas. 'Cat Amongst the Pigeons' sees the team confronted with a feathery surprise when they visit the Sanctuary of Wings. 'Target!' finds Purdey and Steed serving as human targets for an invisible killer. 'To Catch a Rat' has Steed and friends attempt to find an old spy whose amnesia is just beginning to clear up, but who is also the target for a double agent who wants to make sure certain thing remain forgotten. In 'House of Cards' the New Avengers must protect a Russian defector from his own country's assassination squads. 'Last of the Cybernauts' sees Felix Kane attempt to reactivate the killer Cybernauts with the aid of Frank Goff. 'Three Handed Game' concerns a cunning plan in which people with photographic memories are used to transport top secret documents. 'Sleeper' finds a whole town put to sleep as part of a scheme to carry out the world's biggest bank robbery. 'Dirtier by the Dozen' has a group of commandos start a war in order to keep the Middle East in crisis. 'Faces' sees the Avengers confront their evil doubles. 'Gnaws' finds a radioactive overflow causing major problems in the sewage systems. In 'Tale of the Big Why' Purdey is held to ransom for a top secret document. 'Dead Men are Dangerous' has Steed forced to face up to a boyhood rival. 'Angels of Death' sees the team investigate a spate of tension-related deaths among government employees. 'Medium Rare' finds Steed consulting a clairvoyant whilst someone tries to put him in the frame for murder. In 'The Lion and the Unicorn' the team visit Paris in the hope of catching an assassin. 'Obsession' has Purdey battle a vengeful former flame. 'Trap' sees Steed, Gambit and Purdey incur the wrath of drug baron. 'Hostage' finds Steed turning traitor in order to rescue a kidnapped Purdey. In 'K is for Kill - Parts 1 and 2' a strange case involving OAP assassins sparks the interest of Steed and friends. 'Complex' has the team hot on the trail of Soviet agent X41. 'The Gladiators' sees the team travel to Canada and tackle some enemies with superhuman strength. 'Forward Base' finds Steed searching for some foreign agents at sea. Finally, 'Emily' has Steed, Gambit and Purdey fall foul of a double agent.
