BBC documentary based on the original Arena trilogy screened in 1995 devoted to the life of actor and comic genius Peter Sellers (1925-1980). The documentary features footage that Sellers, a compulsive amateur filmmaker, shot himself privately over many years, on the sets of his films, at home or on holiday with his family. As well as his three wives Anne Levy, Britt Ekland and Lynne Frederick, and his children Michael, Sarah and Victoria, the documentary features footage of friends and colleagues including Princess Margaret, Lord Snowdon, Orson Welles, Spike Milligan and Sophia Loren (with whom Sellers fell passionately in love).
