Description

'The United States Air Force in Vietnam' considers the main roles of the US Air Force during the war, paying close attention to combat and non-combat missions. 'Another Day of War' illustrates a day in the life of a US Air Force soldier looking at the daily duties of the engineers, ground staff, flight crews and help and rescue soldiers. 'The Sparrow Hawks' looks at the dangers faced by the forward air controller who had to fly low over unknown terrain to track down enemies and use a flare to alert ground troops to their hiding places. 'The Air Mobile Division' examines the inner workings, missions and division structures of the 1st Cavalry Division known as the 'Sky Troopers' and the strategies employed to keep them fighting.
