Description

Documentary charting the history of the left-wing political group that tried to overthrow the US government through violent action during the 1960s. Initially born out of the non-violent student protest movement, the Weather Underground quickly became disillusioned by the lack of political progress, breaking away to adopt a more direct, aggressive stance. Bombing government buildings while attempting to link up with the Black Panthers, the group quickly became a prime target of the FBI, who used every means at their disposal, legal or otherwise, to hasten its end.
