Description

Five films from director Wes Craven. In 'The Last House on the Left' two teenage girls on their way to a rock concert are drugged, beaten and kidnapped by a group of escaped convicts. It was banned in the UK for almost 30 years. Loosely based on the story of Scottish cannibal Sawney Bean 'The Hills Have Eyes' tells the tale of a vacationing family's terrifying encounter with a band of mutant cannibals in the Nevada Desert. In 'Mind Ripper' a scientist is called in to save his former colleagues from a rampaging 'super-soldier' created by a virus he developed. The post-modern horror classic 'Scream' turned the tired genre on its head, spanning two sequels and countless imitators. Finally, a bonus disc feaures a documentary from Adam Simon entitled 'The American Nightmare'.
