The Annunaki - Jack Lourens

The Annunaki are the stuff of legends. Their history and that of the earth are intertwined. The Sumerians speak of a race of giant aliens from the planet Niburu, other tales tell of how a wandering planet Niburu collided with a giant planet Tiamat giving rise to Earth. Annunaki is a word that translates as "Princely offspring" and "Those of royal blood" according to ancient Mesopotamian mythology. "Anu" was the supreme deity of the Sumerian civilization and "Ki" was the goddess of the Earth. The Sumerians tell that the Annunaki are the children created by Anu on Planet Ki. In the beginning mankind had no set lifespan and the population could only be controlled by flood, fire or pestilence.
