Kingsley Azobi is a hardworking Nigerian with a loving wife and children in Cape City, whose past suddenly catches up with him when a British operative comes to him with threat of exposure of his militant/gun-running past life as well as a proposal of freeing himself from it all. Suddenly he finds himself embroiled in a web of government betrayal, deceit, death and political decadence and corruption that threathens to explode the city, as he realises that the past is never free of him and every ticking second could become his last.
