There are many thousands of campsites in Europe of varying quality: this guide containsimpartially written reports on over 1,000, including many of the very finest, in no less than22 countries. Each one is individually inspected and selected. This guide does not includesites in Britain and Ireland, for which we publish a separate guide, and it contains onlya limited selection of sites in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal as we also publish separateguides for these destinations.
