The End - Rudy VanderLans

Everything must come to an end, and after publishing Emigre magazine for over two decades, Rudy Vanderlans is saying adieu. In MIGR 69, we acknowledge our sadness in losing one of the great graphic resources of our time by celebrating its achievements. We are grateful to Mr. Vanderlans for leaving us with this rare behind-the-scenes look - the ins an outs of each published issue - at Emigre's amazing run.

More than twenty-five contributors and colleagues, including Lorraine Wild, William Drenttel, Michael Bierut, Steve Heller, Ellen Lupton, Armin Vit, and Peter Bilak weigh in and bid the legendary magazine farewell. Emigre has sparked intense debate in the graphics community since its inception over 20 years ago, and is known as one of the great graphic resources influencing young designers.
