This book describes each individual step of evidence-based practice from forming a question through to putting findings into practice and developing an evaluative culture within the organisation. It deals with each component of the process in sufficient breadth that the novice will understand most of the principles and in enough depth for it to be an aide-memoire and provide guidance to the professional who has already had some training in evidence-based practice. It uses multiple examples relevant to nursing, both within primary and secondary care, to illustrate points. Each chapter deals with specific aspects of the process and these are logically laid out to lead the reader through the process.
