Description

'The Great Escaper' is a British-French drama film starring Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson. Inspired by a true story, in the summer of 2014, Bernard Jordan made global headlines. He had staged a 'great escape' from his care home to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy, commemorating their fallen comrades at the D-Day Landing's 70th anniversary. The film is directed by Oliver Parker, and written by William Ivory. The original music is composed by Craig Armstrong, who has scored movies like Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, The Incredible Hulk, Love Actually, Ray, Romeo + Juliet, The Bone Collector and many others.
