Description

If you sent Castlevania to the gym four times a week for a year and had it start hanging around graveyards with Bloodborne at 1am, you'd end up with something like The Last Faith. It's a sidescrolling soulslike/metroidvania hybrid, and it's just about the most goth thing you've ever seen. You play as Eric, a chap who's really good at fighting towering monstrosities. Which is just as well, because a whole bunch of them have just invaded Eric's world, and he has a lot of hacking, slashing and shooting in his near future. Combat is precise, muscular, and offers a huge range of arcane spells, blades, ranged weapons and 'custom executions'. It's THAT sort of game. Perform well and you'll subvert a hidden prophecy, ideally saving the day in the process. It's all delivered in a bleak, smooth, pixel art style that is... well, just as goth as The Last Faith deserves.
