The money tree murders - Roger Silverwood

Detective Inspector Michael Angel and his team are sent to investigate the murder of a young woman, andinquiries indicate that she had discovered the operation of a Money Tree swindle at Zenith Television. Angel begins his interviews and is faced with a cast of eccentric characters, amongst whom are the peculiar Abercrombie, who tows a boxcar and scavenges for fuel to heat his cottage, and a recently middle aged couple who believe their house to be haunted by the ghost of an alcoholic dentist and his family who died in 1760. As the investigations become more mystifying and dangerous, Angel races to solve the puzzle and stop more mayhem and murder.
