Catriona Hoy was born in Scotland and emigrated to Australia with her family at the age of seven. They all got horribly sun burnt in the middle of winter and spoke with funny accents. She is now a science teacher and writer and lives in Melbourne with her husband, two daughters and overfed Labrador. Catriona has also written My Grandad Marches on Anzac Day , published by Lothian Books.
The Illustrator Adele Jaunn was born in Norway, moved to Australia and gained a dregree in Visual Communication. Currently she lives in South Australia with her husband and two budgies, and is training to be a police officer. Her first Australian picture book, Caruso's Song to the Moon (Lothian Books), was a Notable Book in the 2005 CBCA awards.
