Then what - Gintaras Grajauskas

He is editor of Klaipeda, a Lithuanian daily newspaper, and has been head of the literary department of Klaipeda Drama theatre since 2008.Having studied jazz at the State Conservatoire in Klaipeda, he also sings and plays the bass guitar in the band Kontrabanda. This is the first selection of his poetry translated into English. Paradoxical, absurd, witty and observant, Grajauskas's poetry reflects Lithuania's post-Soviet society. He met the jarring changes around him with a wry smile, black humour, and telling irony. Reading his poems, one can laugh and grind one's teeth at the same time. Featured in Baltic Countries themed promotion at 2018 London International Bookfair with the British Council.
