The runaway bannock - Lou Kuenzler

A little old man and the little old woman live in Scotland. They have nomoney and nothing to eat but thin cabbage soup. When a goblin appearswith a bag of flour, they think their dreams have come true. But thisis not anyflour This is magic flour. The little old lady bakes abannock, but this bannock is not anybannock. It runs away before they can eat it! They runafter the bannock and, along the way, they are joined in the chase bysome other people who fancy a bite of the bannock, too. But will this bannock ever be caught?
