Description

All eight episodes from the second series of the surrealist BBC sitcom directed by Matt Lipsey and written by and starring Chris Bran and Justin Chubb. The series follows the bizarre and whimsical antics of the residents on the fictional island of Jinsy, where the authorities keep a close eye on the eccentric locals with the help of coin-operated 'tesselator' surveillance machines. In this series, the islanders are terrorised by an antique wig that takes on a life of its own during the yearly Follication ceremony, Maven (Chubb) tries to prevent his own assassination, and he is forced to kill the island's oldest resident as the population goes over 791. The episodes are: 'Intelligent Hair', 'Acco!', 'Double Duck', 'Penny's Pendant', 'Nightly Bye', 'The Speckled Pom-Pom', 'Population 791' and 'The Golden Woggle'.
