Description

Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the green...there's a Tiger about. It would, of course, be remiss of EA to let a golfing season slip by without getting Tiger Woods' name onto a video game, and this year's no different. This year there are 16 big name professional golfers lending their name to Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08. Trying out their swing are Tiger Woods (in case you hadn't guessed), Camilo Villegas, Vijay Singh, Annika Sorenstam, Christie Kerr and Morgan Pressel. There are, as ever, a wealth of courses for you to stretch your slacks-clad legs on, including luxury locations such as Pebble Beach, St Andrews and TPC at Sawgrass. You'll be able to live the golfing dream, rising through the ranks from amateur level through to bumping clubs with the best of the best on the PGA Tour. The control system has seen an overhaul since Tiger first made an appearance on the DS. Players will use the stylus to pull their swing back to the appropriate power level before flicking firmly forward to take the swing. Skew off to one side or the other and you might find yourself hacking your way out of a bunker.
