Description

Call of Duty's murky Black Ops series returns for its sixth instalment, moving the action to the early 90s. It's a changing world, with the USA emerging as a solitary military superpower and trouble raging in the Middle East. Into the fray you sprint, guns blazing as you crash through real(ish) world settings, spray enemies with bullets and blow a lot of stuff up. The campaign mode is pure CoD - multiple enemy forces on the go, sprawling environments, spectacular set pieces, eyeball-scorching pyrotechnics, incredibly kinetic and fast-pace combat. It's all here! Meanwhile, the game's world-beating multiplayer modes are out in force. Black Ops 6 packs in 16 new maps from launch, with 12 core 6v6 maps and four Strike maps that can be played in 2v2 matches or 6v6 matches. Also making a return is the fan favourite Round-Based Zombies mode, in which players shoot holes in wave after wave of the undead. The mode starts with two maps at launch, and players can expect more to come post-launch.
