Description

Giacomo Puccini's 'Turandot' recorded live at the 7th performance in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in January 1996. A legendary time, a forbidden city, a Princess, the ministers Ping, Pang and Pong and the princes which must win the princesses hand in marriage. The ingredients for any fairy tale, but this is no ordinary fairy tale. The princess may be beautiful, but she leads a bloody reign and is responsible for much pain and death.
