Norah Hanson was born in Hull in 1937. Her poetry has been published in numerous magazines and anthologies, shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and commended in the Yorkshire Open. Her first collection, Love Letters & Children's Drawings, was published by Valley Press in 2011 (ISBN 9780956890467).
