The Undertones formed in Derry, Northern Ireland, in 1975. 'The Sin of Pride' was the band's fourth album, originally released in 1983 and was by far the most exploratory album The Undertones ever issued. Containing injections of post-punk dance into their growing soul sound, the release is loosser and more focused on mood and groove than their previous titles.
