Description

With victory within his grasp, did he actually want the British to escape? 'The Phantom Invasion' looks at the successful Allied intelligence operation to convince the Germans that the invasion of France would be in the Pas de Calais area, and not Normandy, and attempts to answer the question of why Hitler, when the landings had started, refused to believe it was the real invasion.
