He couldn't remember who he was. Even his name wasn't his own, taken from the brand of shoes he'd been found wearing. Things seemed to be going okay though, he'd already made a couple unlikely friends and figured out a way to make ends meet in the downtown burrough of Port Montaigne. One could live on the kindness of friends and waffles forever if it weren't for the looming global apocalypse. Unfortunately, he can't remember if he had a hand in creating, or preventing, the coming chaos. Uncertain whether he is a savior or a malefactor, Silverstein and his new friends seek out clues to the impending Shut Down. The Uroboros Saga is character driven science fiction, published three times per year. Each book continues the story with an array of colorful characters and environments. It is written to address and explore the idea of technology that extends and expands the modern notion of identity, and the sort of dystopia that such technology could create. The global fiscal apocalypse that occurs in the midst of that exploration is just there to be charming window dressing. Enjoy.
