The legacy of Tony Hawk's name lives on in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. If you've played 1+2 you know the deal: two classic games dusted off and re-presented for a new generation of gamers (and a lot of nostalgic, more seasoned players too). Is it a remaster? A reworking? A reboot? Hard to say. Everything has had a huge visual overhaul, obviously, and 3+4 looks right at home on modern consoles. The bulk of the original levels are the present and accounted for, though a couple have been swapped out for new stages. The whole lot, though, are big complex spaces designed to give you the space and freedom to put together incredible lines and chain together gnarly tricks as you roll, grind and fly around, furiously nailing objectives as you go. Music discovery was a big part of the games first time around, so rather than just playing the hits this new version mixes in classics from the original with new songs for players to discover. 3+4 also boasts the series' biggest ever line-up of pro skaters, with legends like Tony, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen alongside new pro skateboarders like Rayssa Leal, Margielyn Didal and Yuto Horigome. Or, if you prefer, you can create your own skater (or your own skatepark, for that matter!) And because skating is inherently social, you can also get together with up to eight players online!
