Victoria and the crowded pocket - Carolyn Sloan

Victoria, a young kangaroo, is sick and tired of sharing her mother's pouch with umpteen other items: cacti, a goldfish in a bowl, keys, coathangers, a book... the list is endless! So she takes drastic action by hopping around her friends asking if she can live with them. She tries living in a tree with the Koala family, in a burrow with the Rabbit family and in a nest with the Goose family before realising there's no place like home. But when she bounces back to her mother, she's grown too bigfor the pouch - and her place has been taken by a baby brother! All three kangaroos happily hop off into the sunset together.
