Description

Compiled first three 'claymation' features starring Wallace and Gromit, contained in a presentation cheese and cracker tin. 'A Grand Day Out,' is the original adventure in which we meet cheese-loving inventor Wallace and his faithful dog Gromit. Wallace runs out of his favourite Wensleydale cheese on Boxing Day and the shops are closed. The only solution is to head, in his man made rocket, for the biggest block of cheese in the universe: the moon. 'The Wrong Trousers' is animator Nick Park's Oscar-winner. Wallace and Gromit encounter difficulties during a demonstration of the inventor's robotic 'Techno Trousers' and encounter a rogue chicken in penguin's clothing. 'A Close Shave' sees Wallace and Gromit become successful window cleaners and get involved with a lady from a wool shop. Wallace becomes infatuated with her, but Gromit becomes distracted by the case of some disappearing sheep, and blames the wool-shop owner's dog. However, the devious dog frames Gromit for the disappearing sheep and Wallace must pull himself together in time to save the reputation of his dog.
