The game's restricted 2D capabilities allow for some spectacularly populated battle scenes, mixed with a plethora a beautiful magic spells and special effects. There are a number of game modes to participate in, including campaign, skirmish and Internet play.

You can fight against some of the top warriors, mages and priests across the globe, provided you have Internet access.

With a vast bestiary of game options, weaponry and magic, Warlords Battlecry should hold a position in the strategy genre quite respectably.
