Description

Batman is dead, and it's up to the Gotham Knights to rise up to fill the void left by his passing and quell the wave of violence that threatens to consume the city. This is not, to be absolutely clear, Gotham's (American) football team - this is Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood, the heirs of the Dark Knight. Developed by WB Games Montreal, Gotham Knights is the spiritual successor to the Arkham games (though it's not set in the same continuity). There's a familiar look and feel to this Gotham and its cast of characters, but moves in a different direction with a stronger focus on combat and building out your characters with skills and loot. Still, the game has you patrolling Gotham as its streets surge with violence and descending into the fray to deal out some two-fisted justice. There are villains aplenty, including the likes of the Court of Owls, Harley Quinn, Mr Freeze, Clayface, The Penguin and the Man-Bat Commandos. Each character has their own move-set and style, but arguably the real magic happens when you team two of them up, bringing in a friend for a spot of co-op. It's big, epic stuff that bat-fans are not going to want to miss.
