Description

Documentary, part of the History of Warfare series, examining the struggle for power in fifteenth century England between the houses of Lancaster and York, the so-called 'Wars of the Roses.' At Bosworth Field in 1485, both sides met for the final battle; with Richard III slain in combat, Henry VII was able to seize power and install his Tudor monarchy. Featuring dramatic battle reconstructions and computer effects, with expert comment from Dr David Chandler and narration by Brian Blessed.
