Within the fairy castle - Colleen Moore

Colleen Moore was a 'flapper' and Silent Screen film star who commissioned The Fairy Tale Castle in the 1920's at the incredible cost of $500,000 ( more than twice the cost of her own Bel Aire mansion).
Nine feet square and twelve feet high, the castle contains over 2,000 miniature objects from around the world and each of its 14 rooms scaled one inch to one foot is themed with specially commissioned artwork all based on beloved stories or fairy tales and executed in minute and precious detail.
Contains photo's of the Magic Garden with it's working fountain and weeping willow that cries 'real tears', the library which contains diminutive books with contributions from F Scott Fitzgerald and Willa Cather among others.
