Description

There were countless men and women who could be classed as heroes because of their exploits during World War II, none more so than the pilots who fought in the treacherous skies of Europe. Now you can fly with those World War II heroes, battling for dominance across the skies of Britain, Germany and Normandy.

WWII: Battle Over Europe is an arcade-style flight sim. Players can jump straight into the cockpit and head for the skies. You must fly across massive environments, firing on ground troops, buildings and ships while attempting to complete 50 intense missions. You can fight as either a British or German squadron commander in air-to-air, ground and sea combat. WWII Battle Over Europe for the PS2 offers players the chance to master classic aircraft, such as the Spitfire, Junkers and Messerschmitt. Each plane is equipped with authentic World War II weaponry that includes machineguns, rockets, bombs and torpedoes. Once you get the hang of the controls, it won't take long before you will be able to pull off incredible manoeuvres like barrel rolls, loops and even daring divebombs.
